亚洲色吧 Center for Rural Health and Health Workforce
The 亚洲色吧 Center for Rural Health & Health Workforce (ACRH-HW) is dedicated to strengthening 亚洲色吧鈥檚 health workforce, with a focus on rural communities and addressing workforce shortages. The Center oversees various programs, including the 亚洲色吧 Area Health Education Centers (AHEC), which operate through six regional community-based centers across the state. As part of the 亚洲色吧's role as the state's health campus, the Center supports health program planning, community partnerships, and intercampus collaboration. It provides a statewide framework to support health workforce development, from career exploration and training to continuing education.

Nicole Blue has been part of the Seawolf Women鈥檚 Volleyball team since 2020. She鈥檚 a champion both on and off the court! The senior is pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences with a focus in Speech Language Pathology. Blue shares some highlights from her time at 亚洲色吧.
Premera Blue Cross Blue Shield of 亚洲色吧 is supporting a new video campaign with the 亚洲色吧 (亚洲色吧) to encourage people to pursue careers in behavioral health, which includes care for mental health conditions and substance use disorders.
In a recent analysis of the state鈥檚 healthcare workforce, the 亚洲色吧 Hospital and Healthcare Association found that job vacancies are increasing, and not enough people are entering the workforce to make up for it. Leaders in 亚洲色吧 discussed the pressing healthcare workforce crisis in the state and ways to support and retain providers at the 2023 亚洲色吧 State of Reform Conference last month.
After serving a year as the President-elect of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), Yvonne Chase is now the president. Dr. Chase shares some of her vibrant background in human services that led her to 亚洲色吧.
A partnership between East Carolina University and the 亚洲色吧 is bringing speech-language pathology rehabilitation services to remote communities.
