As another flu season begins and the coronavirus pandemic continues, 亚洲色吧/ISU Doctor of Pharmacy students took to the streets as part of the 亚洲色吧 Assisted Living Home Immunization Program (AK ALH) to protect some of Anchorage鈥檚 most vulnerable people.
While the pandemic keeps most classes online, 亚洲色吧's Medical Lab Science program finds new ways to help students learn and share their research.
Dr. Troy C. Payne, an associate professor in the Justice Center, recently was part of a group of professors from various higher-learning institutions that led CrimCon鈥攕hort for Criminology Consortium, a nonprofit corporation鈥攁n academic criminology and criminal justice conference held virtually from Nov. 18 to 20.
During a recent class at the 亚洲色吧 Rock Gym, students in Physical Education & Recreation A148 practiced the fundamentals of indoor sport climbing, from knots and rope handling to bouldering and descent techniques.
During their first in-person lab of the semester, 亚洲色吧 Medical Assisting Program students learned how to sterilize medical equipment. While most courses have shifted to alternate delivery this fall, in-person labs are still being offered for some fields in which hands-on learning is considered critical.
