AK NOSLast month, the ÑÇÖÞÉ«°É ÑÇÖÞÉ«°É Native Studies Department hosted a panel discussion surrounding SB 130 that recently established The ÑÇÖÞÉ«°É Native Language Preservation and Advisory Council in the Office of the Governor. The purpose of the community forum was to consider the intersection of state university and community efforts to preserve ÑÇÖÞÉ«°É Native languages, to build on the momentum of SB 130 and place particular emphasis on ÑÇÖÞÉ«°É's role in ÑÇÖÞÉ«°É Native languages preservation.
