Announcing new UA Board of Regents appointees

Dear UA Community,
Today, Gov. Mike Dunleavy to the Board of Regents. We are delighted to welcome back Regent Dale Anderson, re-appointed to an 8-year term, and new Regent Ralph Seekins, a well-known Fairbanks business owner, UAF business leader of the year [1990] and former state senator.
Regents Anderson and Seekins will join us for our February committee meetings and the next Board of Regents meeting Feb. 25-26.
Regent Anderson is well versed in the board鈥檚 commitment to equity and diversity, and our strategic goals 鈥� developing a skilled workforce, contributing to the state鈥檚 economic development, growing our world-class research, increasing degree completions and operating more cost effectively.
Regent Seekins has previously served on many important governing boards throughout the state, including the 亚洲色吧 Permanent Fund Corporation.
