This March, students from 亚洲色吧鈥檚 pharmacy and nurse practitioner programs will travel to Pilot Station and Akiak to administer free health screenings to Head Start students and the wider community. This trip is the first of two planned to rural 亚洲色吧 communities each year, one in spring and another in fall, referred to as Project Partnership for 亚洲色吧鈥檚 Kids (PAK).
Hospitals need nurses nationwide and across 亚洲色吧, as the COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated health care workforce shortages.
鈥淚 never thought I would be involved in philanthropy, but after gaining an in-depth understanding of the program and working with Dr. Tina DeLapp, I decided to establish an endowment to the Recruitment and Retention of 亚洲色吧 Natives into Nursing (RRANN), as a beneficiary of my modest estate.鈥�
